Project Summary

What are the concrete goals you want to achieve and the 'results or outcomes you want to realize'? How are these goals linked to the priorities you have chosen?

WHAT IS ARDUINO: Simply put, an arduino is a board that, thanks to the chip it contains, processes the values it receives from the input ports and transmits them to the output ports. Thanks to its analog and digital inputs, it can control analog and digital data.

WHERE IS IT USED: In all kinds of electronic devices, smart devices, robots, toys, intellectual systems, industrial and industrial machines, mass production devices and technologies... Arduinos has started to be taught as a basic vocational course in the fields of electronics and automation and informatics in Vocational Education and Training schools.

The main needs or issues we address in our project are:

• Lack of equipment such as development and application kits in Arduinos applications

• Complexity of existing application kits

• Lack of curriculum

• Problems faced by both students and teachers during Arduinos applications in school studies

The knowledge and skills we aim to develop:

• To have knowledge about the use of Arduino in vocational education

• To have knowledge about different tools and equipment used in Arduinos education

• To have knowledge about Arduinos applications used in industry

• Visiting local companies using Arduinos at transnational events

• Developing the professional skills and business vision of teachers and students

• To compare and exchange partners' own different education systems and teaching methods with other participating schools

• Transfer of good practices

• Presenting their Arduinos models to other participants during host country visits

• To give both teachers and students a sense of qualified manpower

• Raising awareness about the importance of Arduino

• Strengthening the use of ICT among students and teachers participating in the project

• Improving the quality of teaching and learning

• Promoting intercultural awareness and strengthening European values
